Bulgarian Ambassador to the Philippines Evgueni Stefanov Stoytchev paid a courtesy call on Economic Planning Secretary and NEDA Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan on June 10 at the NEDA Pasig.
During his visit, the ambassador expressed Bulgaria’s willingness to create business ventures aligned with the Philippines’ established national plans. Secretary Balisacan, on the other hand, said that government of the Philippines welcomes business ventures that will expand economic growth drivers. “We plan to expand the growth drivers other than the services sector. The investments and external trade sectors should take bigger roles in diversifying the economy to balance the heavy concentration in the area of consumption,” he added.
