Secretary Balisacan speaks at APEC New Strategy for Structural Reform (ANSSR) Workshop. Economic Planning Secretary and NEDA Director General Arsenio Balisacan discussed the Philippines’ successes and challenges in implementing structural reform during the APEC ANSSR last February 2 at Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga.
He highlighted the implementation of Philippines’ structural reform from the late 80’s, as well as the Aquino administration’s efforts to continue the reform agenda, focusing on building credible institutions, practicing good governance, addressing key constraints to growth, and translating such growth to people’s wellbeing.
