United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator  and  United Nations Development  Program (UNDP)  Resident Representative  Ola Almgren paid a courtesy call on Economic Planning Secretary and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)  Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan on  August 4  at the NEDA Pasig.

During the visit,  Secretary  Balisacan conveyed the  need  to  align  the plans and programs  enunciated under the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF)  with the  Philippine Development Plan (PDP) to  maximize the development impact  for the Philippines.  The UNDAF is the strategic  program  framework that describes the collective response of the United Nations (UN) system to national development priorities.
