Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan(left) signed a memorandum of understanding with International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) Executive Director Dr. Emmanuel Jimenez(right), granting the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) membership in the 3ie last September 15, 2015 at the NEDA, Pasig City. As a government agency in a middle income country, NEDA was granted free membership to the organization.
As a 3ie member, NEDA is expected to initiate the use of impact evaluation in at least one government program or policy each year, while ensuring the full cooperation of relevant implementing agencies with ongoing activities.
