NEDA Deputy Director-General Emmanuel F. Esguerra joined the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs), multilateral agencies, and workers’ and employers’ representatives during the National Productivity Convention on October 16 at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.
Reading the message of Economic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan, Esguerra stressed the importance of raising the country’s productivity and innovative capacity through a rapid and sustained growth in the agriculture, industry and services sectors.
Secretary Balisacan is the ex-officio vice-chair of the NWPC while DDG Esguerra serves as his alternate.
