Director-General of Global Green Growth (GGG) Yvo de Boer paid a courtesy call on Economic Planning Secretary and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan on June 19 at the NEDA Pasig. During the visit, Secretary Balisacan expressed his support for the  2015  GGG  Summit that will be held this July in Bali, Indonesia.  The  two directors-general also  tackled potential sustainability programs for the Philippines, such as the improvement of cooling facilities and infrastructure to increase agriculture production.

The forthcoming GGG Summit will involve discussions on social inclusion and policy barriers to green investment. It is also an initiative intended to draw support from different global leaders, heads of state and climate policy experts for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21).
