The International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC) Economic delegation of Japan headed by Vice Chairman Norio Yamaguchi (right) met with Economic Planning Secretary and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan on March 20 at the NEDA Pasig. During the visit, the FEC delegation discussed the current trend of Japanese corporations and small and medium-enterprises (SMEs) movement into ASEAN countries including the Philippines. The FEC Vice Chairman was accompanied by twelve other delegates representing some of the largest corporations in Japan.
The FEC is a non-profit organization that specializes in private sector diplomacy. It aims to promote dialogue with foreign countries and strengthen international ties.
