NEDA Deputy Director-General Emmanuel F. Esguerra welcomed the participants to the Joint Meeting of the APEC Group on Services and Market Access Group, earlier today at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu City.

The meeting discussed the role of services in global value chains and presented case studies on opening markets for services in the APEC region.

Also in attendance to represent the Philippines was Director Brenda Mendoza of the NEDA Trade Services and Industry Staff.
