Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)

The agency that serves as the central statistical authority of the Philippine government on the primary data collection, prepares and conducts national censuses and surveys, gathering and publication of sector statistics, consolidation of selected administrative recording systems, and compilation of national accounts.

Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI)

The research and training arm of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) that carries out its dual function primarily for the development of statistical theories, concepts, and methodologies in support of a statistical infrastructure that is compliant with the demands of national development.

Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS)

The Philippine government’s primary socioeconomic policy think tank. Since its establishment, PIDS has been engaged in the conduct of policy-oriented studies to assist policymakers and planners in crafting development policies, plans, and programs that are based on sound research evidence.

Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center

The central coordinating and monitoring agency for all PPP projects in the Philippines. It champions the country’s PPP Program by enabling implementing agencies in all aspects of project preparation, managing of the Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF), providing projects advisory and facilitation services, monitoring and empowering agencies through various capacity building activities.

Tariff Commission (TC)

Principal and independent authority on tariff, trade remedy measures and competition policy. The TC performs both governmental and quasi-judicial functions such as, adjudicate cases on the application of trade remedies against imports, study the impact of tariff policies and programs on national competitiveness and consumer welfare in line with the economic objectives of the government, administer the Philippine tariff schedules and tariff nomenclatures, among others.

Philippine National Volunteer Services Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA)

The government agency mandated to promote and coordinate volunteer programs and services in the Philippines. PNVSCA closely works with other government agencies, non-government organizations, the academe, the corporate group, the media and other partners in converging and linking the different volunteering efforts and resources to align with national priorities and to assist the marginalized sectors and communities. The agency also takes the lead in advocating and recognizing the contributions of volunteers to nation-building and international cooperation.
